Fine Art by Faith
Faith’s beautiful landscapes and sunsets are proudly displayed in several Kansas City locations. Her artwork is a go-to for many who prefer one-of-a-kind artwork by a local artist.
Andrea’s Cottage
My oldest daughter has this original painting. It exemplifies her grace and beauty.
Cardinal
My uncle took a picture of the icycles on his birdhouse and I added the cardinal to complete this painting.
Iowa
This painting was inspired by a photograph my youngest daughter had. Her uncle’s home in Iowa holds a dear place in her heart so she now has the original artwork on her wall to bring back warm memories of family.
Ozark Fall
One of my favorite places in Missouri to be in the fall is in the Ozarks. The vibrancy of the leaves is exhilarating.
Nancy’s Retreat
This was inspired by photographs from a trip my sister took. The painting was a gift to her at Christmas. Each of my siblings has an original painting of mine.
Dry Hollow Road
Driving down the country road after a visit with my daughter, I stopped to capture a photo that later inspired this painting, now hanging on her wall.
Eileen’s Place
This painting was a gift to my niece and goddaughter for her graduation from college.
Buffalo Wall Homestead
This is a commissioned painting for my sister. It is the original homestead of her husband’s family and is the first non-sod house in Greeley, KS. The fencing surrounded the homes to prevent the buffalo from rubbing up against buildings and causing damage.
Mike’s Trees
This was a commission for a gentleman who planted these trees in memory of his son who passed. They are at Drumm Farm in Independence, MO.
Wind Point
This is a commissioned work for a coworker who returned from a vacation and wished to have a lighthouse painting as a remembrance.
Anna Marie Island
This painting was inspired from a photo I took while on vacation to Anna Marie Island in Florida. The minute I stepped out of the car on our way to the beach, I fell in love with the view.
New Hampshire Winter
A former employer commissioned me to paint a winter scene to be used on their Christmas cards. I found this lovely scene in a photo and used that as my inspiration.
Stormy Tahoe
Taking a break along the Lake Tahoe roadside, the approaching storm and early evening hour presented a lovely view thatI photographed and later painted for my oldest son.
Brittany in the Village of Menerbes
This is a present to Brit and Justin for their wedding day on June 13, 2020. It was inspired by a photo Justin took of Brit on their vacation with his family in France.
Garden of the Gods, Shawnee National Forest, Illinois
This was a wedding gift for my niece. It was inspired by a photo they took on a walk at one of their favorite places.
The View
This was a painting for my granddaughter and her fiance, Blair and Mason. It is a place where they would go while they were dating to enjoy picnics, sunsets or relaxing with friends. It was the site where Mason first asked Blair to a high-school dance among other special moments. It’s also where, he brought her — armed with Chinese takeout — for a little sunset picnic, where he proposed. She said, “Yes.”
Our Special Look into the Gulf
This is a miniature painting that I did on South Padre Island and gave to my new friend, Sarah, in Port Isabel, Texas. I sign my name in a tiny shell from the island and add to the painting.
Grand Isle
This was a gift to my dear friend, Alice from Deming, New Mexico. It is acrylic and pen on a 5″ x 6.5″ stretched canvas.
Southview RV Park Sunset
This is an acrylic paint and paint pen on canvas board inspired by a photograph taken by the owner of the park, Tanya.
Juli’s Shed
Our cousin Juli showed us her creative artwork shed one day on a visit. Immediately I knew I had to take a photo because it screamed “paint me” when I saw it. Currently this painting is displayed in my parent’s home and is looking for a permanent wall to grace. This work is acrylic and ink on canvas board.
Katlyn and Kyle Engagement at Shawnee Mission Park
This painting was inspired by a photograph I saw from Katlyn’s post on social media. For clarity, the park is not where cousin Kyle proposed, but where the engagement announcement photography took place. My dear cousin and wife now have a darling son Benny and are living a lovely, charmed life!
Relax at Beach Access 14
This painting is a commission for our friend, Ben Hill, and was inspired by an original photograph taken by a mutual friend, Tom Bainter. The location is on the Gulf side of South Padre Island, TX. The evenings hold many beautiful views of the water and can just take your breath away. Thank you, Tom, for letting me use your photo to create this.
A Missouri Fall
Before leaving to head South for the winter, we stopped by to visit my folks. On the way out the door, Mom handed me a picture, and said she wanted me to paint it. Well, you just do not say, “no,” to your 90-year-old mother! To speed up the painting process, I decided to use a 5X7 canvas board. I prefer working with smaller canvases.
Steve and Lizzy in Maine
As we establish ourselves in the RV Park community in Texas, I formed a friendship with a fellow “Winter Texan.” Gina found out I paint, and I agreed to take a stab at a photo she presented of her husband and dog in Maine. This was a stretch for me, as I normally only paint landscapes. I hope all are happy with the end result!
